The Relayer Corps was organized in June 2007 to fill a need realized for such a service after the first episode, "Scars." The Relayers provide real-time relaying during episodes to Subscription Buddy lists and Customer Neighborhoods from wherever the action takes place.
Since then, the Relayer Corps has expanded to include a Moderation Service to the Cavern. The Moderators provide a service, if wanted, to help quickly organize people at a DRC appearance during episodes so as many people as possible can ask their questions.
The Relayer Corps and Moderators are dedicated to providing the most accurate information possible during episodes and to reach out to as many explorers as we can.
Relayers work on an as-needed basis; they are currently accepting and training volunteers. If you are interested in joining, please PM Lynnutte on the GoMe forum or MOUL forum.
The Guild of Messengers is excited to welcome the Relayer Corps as our newest affiliate. The Relayers serve the vital in-cavern need of live news distribution for major events. They also serve as moderators when needed. We are proud to welcome the Relayer Corps into the GoMe community.
